Tiered Tuition

At KoKo NYC, Access and Equity is one of our Core Values and we believe that all kids should be able to participate in our workshops. We have a multi-pronged approach to expanding access which includes offering free STEAM workshops at public schools and community events, partnering with community-based organizations and cultural institutions in low income neighborhoods, and offering tiered tuition for summer workshops at the KoKo Lot.

For our summer workshops, we offer three tiers of tuition rates, plus a limited number of full scholarships for families who receive SNAP benefits. We also offer a 10% sibling discount for all families registering more than one kid. The sibling discount is automatically applied when registering more than one kid in the same workshop. The discount does not automatically apply when enrolling across different workshops (eg. 1 kid in Camp KoKo and 1 kid in Soap Box). Please email info@kokonyc.org to have the sibling discount manually applied when registering for multiple kids across different workshops.

Tiered Tuition Rates:
TIER 1: Full Tuition Rate
TIER 2: 80% Tuition Rate
TIER 3: 60% Tuition Rate

We ask families who are able to pay the full amount to do so, allowing for more equitable access to our programming for all. This is an honor system, and relies on our shared commitment to take care of our community as a whole.

Important notes: 

Currently, our tiered tuition structure is only available for summer workshops. We aim to expand this program to other KoKo NYC workshops in the future.
